Some disruptive members amongst farmers broke the barricades, stormed the Red Fort, violently injured 230 cops, and worse of it, removed national flag of India with some unknown flag, so-called farmers flag.After the incidence, the Delhi Police detained around 200 protesters on charges of rioting, damaging public property and attacking police personnel. It was concluded after investigation that nine leaders were involved in creating chaos, and violence on the republic day. A petition was also filed in the Supreme Court seeking for setting up of a commission, headed by a retired apex court judge, into conduct a inquiry into who were involved, how it was conducted, and whether or not the core members of farmer’s movement were directly involved in disruptive movement. The violent tractor parade has resulted into death of one protester and 230 police men have been injured. Though, the Red Fort was secured before the fall of mid-night, flags were removed but the stain of democracy may remain forever.
