A vacation bench comprising Justices Navin Sinha and Ajay Rastogi dismissed the petition filed by the complainant in the rape case. The petitioner has asked for a stay of the Delhi High Court’s order of May 13, 2021, claiming that the High Court granted anticipatory bail to the accused in a case of rape and assault when the accused absconded and deliberately evaded a non-bailable warrant and the process under Section 82 of the Criminal Procedure Code. A vacation bench clearly stated that we didn't interfere in the high court challenges.
