About the Internship
Here’s your opportunity to tackle real business challenges alongside our teams, gaining practical industry experience. The tasks and projects are genuine issues that require dedicated effort.
Students who deliver outstanding projects and perform well may be considered for management trainee roles after successfully completing their studies. You can select the department for your internship below and choose a project that interests you. Submit a 500-word project proposal. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application for the internship. Please ensure all details are filled in accurately.
Duration & Stipend
The ideal duration for the internship is 3 months (13 weeks), with a minimum of 8 weeks required. In certain situations, the duration can be extended, but this must be pre-arranged.
The internship lasts for a minimum of 2 months, offering a stipend of up to ₹25,000 per month. Approximately 50% of the stipend will be disbursed on a monthly basis.
The remaining amount will depend on the submission and evaluation of a satisfactory project report.
Project Details
Summer interns are expected to adhere to the work hours of regular employees/managers at Hawkins. They must follow the same holidays and weekly offs as other employees and are entitled to 2 days of leave per month worked.
The stipend covers all expenses, including meals and travel to the workplace within the city. Any intercity travel for work (if necessary) will be covered by Hawkins, provided there is adequate proof of travel. Any travel within a city will be the intern's responsibility. Expenses for which reimbursement is expected must be pre-approved.
The intern must agree with the mentor on a written project brief before starting work. This brief will include the problem or opportunity, initial plan, data gathering scope, proposed activities, and scope for the final report. Any changes in scope during the project must be documented as an addendum to the original brief.
The intern, whether working remotely or in-office, must spend at least one hour each week with the mentor to discuss progress and next steps.
If an intern feels that the project is not progressing or faces challenges and the mentor is unable to provide adequate guidance, they should seek clarification from the Internal Consulting Group (ICG). The ICG will monitor progress and provide feedback to both the mentor and the intern.
