About the Role

Benchmark Developers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our Legal & Compliance team in matters related to real estate transactions, land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and contract management. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the legal aspects of the real estate industry and an opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals.

Eligibility

• Pursuing a BA.LLB/BBA.LLB/LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university.

• Students in their final year or penultimate year are preferred.

• Strong interest in real estate law, property law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent legal research and drafting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of RERA, Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, Land Revenue Laws, and Contract Law.

• Ability to interpret legal documents and property records.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on property laws, real estate regulations, RERA provisions, land laws, and related statutes.

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting legal documents, agreements, deeds, notices, and contracts.

• Support due diligence activities related to land acquisition and property transactions.

• Review title documents, property records, and regulatory approvals.

• Assist in maintaining legal records, case files, and compliance documentation.

• Coordinate with government authorities, advocates, and internal departments for legal matters.

• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the real estate sector.

• Prepare legal summaries, reports, and presentations as required.
