About the Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation

The Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation (HHHF) Section 8, a nonprofit grassroots NGO, is committed to empowering marginalized communities throughout India. We achieve this through a comprehensive approach that includes legal aid, social awareness, education, and poverty alleviation programs. Our pro bono legal clinics and rights-awareness workshops are designed to help vulnerable groups understand and assert their fundamental rights.

Our social initiatives, conducted online and via neighborhood outreach camps, tackle vital issues like gender equality, child rights, environmental justice, and public health. Simultaneously, we collaborate with local schools and community centers to provide digital literacy programs and remedial tutoring, assisting underprivileged students in closing educational gaps. To address economic challenges, HHHF provides micro-enterprise training and financial literacy sessions, and organizes relief distributions in times of crisis. A key aspect of our mission is engaging with youth: we guide students in leading and managing community projects, nurturing the next generation of socially aware leaders.

Eligibility

• Current undergraduate or postgraduate students from any discipline

• Passion for human rights, social justice, or public policy

• Familiarity with MS Office

Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Research: Draft policy briefs on legal issues affecting marginalised groups.

• Awareness Camps: Plan and execute virtual campaigns, plus organise 2-3 outreach visits in your neighbourhood (or area of convenience) to spread awareness of fundamental rights.
