About NITI Aayog
The NITI Aayog is the Government of India's apex public policy think tank and the nodal agency in charge of catalyzing economic development and promoting cooperative federalism. About Legal Internship Opportunity at NITI Aayog, New Delhi
Undergraduate/postgraduate students and research scholars from recognized Indian and international universities/institutions are eligible to apply for the NITI Aayog Internship Scheme. They will work closely with NITI's verticals, divisions, and cells. Applicants must apply online by filling out the registration form.
Purpose
To provide "selected candidates" with short-term internships at NITI Aayog, Government of India's various verticals/divisions/units.
Objective
To enable young academic talent to collaborate with the NITI Aayog for mutual benefit.
Interns will learn about the functioning of the government and developmental policy issues in India, as well as contribute to policy formulation by creating policy inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, policy papers, and so on.
Mode of internship
On-site.
Eligibility criteria
Genuine students from any recognized university or institution in India or abroad who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the internship.
Undergraduate students who have completed/appeared in the term end exams of the second year I 4th semester of their bachelor's degree course and received at least 85% or equivalent marks in 12th class.
Graduate students who have completed/appeared in the term-end exams of the first year/2nd semester of their postgraduate program or are pursuing research/PhD and received at least 70% or equivalent marks in graduation.
Students who have appeared in the final exam or have recently completed Graduation/PG and are awaiting admission to higher education may also be considered for internship if they have obtained 7 Ooh or more cumulative marks in all years/semesters of their graduation/post-graduation up to the date of application.
The period between the month of declaration of the final exam result and the desired month of the internship should not be more than six months. For example, if the result is declared in June, he or she can apply for the internship beginning in December.

New Delhi.
Duration
The internship shall last at least six weeks but no more than six months. Interns who do not complete the required period will not be issued a certificate.
