PP & Associates is a litigation-focused law firm that handles cases involving Service Law, Constitutional Law, Consumer Law, Civil & Criminal Litigation, Labour & Industrial Disputes, Arbitration & Conciliation, Family Law, and Company Matters in various Odisha courts and partner chambers across India.

The chamber is led by Advocate Pravat Kumar Panda, who has over 30 years of litigation experience and currently serves as Additional Standing Counsel at the Odisha High Court. He has previously served in key positions, including

  • Standing Counsel, School and Mass Education Department, Government. State of Odisha

  • Government Advocate, State Educational Tribunal

  • Empanelled Advocate for OFDC Ltd., Ruchi Foodline, EPF Organisation, Railways, Dhenkanal Gramya Bank, Bank of India, and others

  • Legal Consultant for STA, Transportation, and Commerce Department

  • Conducted numerous cases involving constitutional, service, civil, banking, consumer, labor, and contractual disputes.

This internship provides hands-on experience in real-world litigation under the supervision of an experienced attorney.

Positions available.

  • Two interns

  • Internship Period: January (full month).

  • Mode: Offline, Physical.

  • Location: Cuttack, Odisha.


Roles and Responsibilities

Interns will be actively engaged in chamber and court-related work, including:

  • Court visits.

  • Drafting case briefs

  • Helping to draft and proofread legal documents.

  • Conducting Legal Research

  • Email verifications, day-to-day chamber activities, case diary updates, and associated tasks


Working hours

  • Chamber Visit: 8:00 - 10:00 AM.

  • Court visits begin at 10:00 AM (flexible based on workload).

  • Evening Chamber Work: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Lunch and snack breaks will be provided.

Eligibility

  • Students in the fourth or fifth year of a 5-year integrated law program.

  • Students in their second or third year of a 3-year LL.B course.

  • Basic legal research and drafting skills are required.


Additional Information:

  • No accommodation or travel expenses will be provided.

  • Interns must bring their own laptops.

  • Professional conduct and punctuality are expected.
