About the Organisation

The Delhi Corporate Law Council (DCLC) operates under the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), a national business chamber dedicated to advancing women's participation in different sectors. DCLC is committed to corporate law initiatives, with the goal of promoting legal awareness and leadership among women in the legal field.

The council engages in thought leadership initiatives, hosts panel discussions, and promotes change through advocacy and policy recommendations. DCLC aims to establish a vibrant network of women legal professionals dedicated to innovation and inclusivity in corporate law.

About the Opportunity

DCLC is growing its team and is seeking applications from enthusiastic female law students and emerging legal professionals to become Council Members for the year 2025. This is an unpaid voluntary role, perfect for individuals eager to engage in impactful legal projects and advance their professional development. Members will be encouraged to assume leadership positions within sub-committees, write articles for publication, and engage actively in strategy meetings and virtual events. This role provides significant opportunities for mentorship, visibility, and developing enduring professional relationships in the legal sector.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in developing policy frameworks for incentives, tax benefits, and access to finance.
Assist in identifying key sectorial issues and propose innovative solutions.
Assist to facilitate networking and mentoring for women entrepreneurs and professionals.
Assist to organize programs, webinars, and conferences on business growth strategies.
Assist to promote knowledge exchange on branding, sales, and market expansion.
Assist to engage with other WICCI councils for national and international collaborations.
Assist to strengthen women’s representation in media and institutions.
