About the Internship
Burnished Law Journal is seeking applications for the following internship roles:
Social Media Intern – 5 positions
Research Intern – 5 positions
Candidates can apply for their preferred position based on their interests and expertise.
Roles and Responsibilities
Social Media Intern
Assisting in the planning and implementation of social media content.
Creating content related to legal developments, articles, opportunities, and Journal initiatives.
Aiding social media campaigns and digital outreach efforts.
Helping manage content calendars and engage with the audience.
Suggesting improvements for the Journal’s online presence.
Research Intern
Performing legal research on designated topics.
Investigating recent legal developments, rulings, legislation, and academic matters.
Assisting in the creation of research-based content for the Journal.
Supporting editorial and publication-related research tasks.
Helping with fact-checking and verifying sources.
Eligibility
Students currently enrolled in law schools or universities in India are eligible to apply.
Law students from any academic year may submit applications.
Candidates should have an interest in legal research, writing, social media, or academic publishing, depending on the role.
Previous professional experience is not required.
Duration
The internship will last for six weeks, with the potential for extension up to 12 weeks based on performance, needs, and mutual agreement.
Mode and Location
The internship is conducted remotely. Participants can join from anywhere in India.
Work Timings
Work hours will be flexible, depending on assigned tasks, deadlines, and Journal activities.
